APPRENTICESHIP AT STELLA

Which data is recorded of you and what are the purposes we use your data for?
We process data that you have sent us in connection with your job application in order to check your qualification for the position (or other job vacancies in our company) and to perform the application procedure.
What is the legal basis for it?
Legal basis for processing your personal data in this application procedure is primarily Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in the version effective from 25.05.2018. Pursuant to this legal stipulation, personal data that are required for establishing an employment relationship may be processed.
If the data were required after the completion of the application procedure, e.g. for prosecution, data processing based on the conditions of paragraph 6 of the General Date Protection Regulation (DSGVO), particularly for safeguarding legitimate interests according to paragraph 6 of section 1 lit. f) DSGVO is permissible. In this case, our interest consists in asserting and defending claims.
How long will personal data be stored?
In case of a refusal, data of job applicants will be deleted after 6 months. If you have agreed to a further storage of your personal data we will enter your data in our applicants’ pool. There the data will be deleted after two years. If you received the confirmation for a job in line with the application procedure your data will be transferred from the applicant data system to our personnel information system.
Who are the recipients of your data?
After receipt of your application, your application data are reviewed by our HR department and passed on in-house to the department heads who are responsible for the relevant vacancy. Afterwards, the further procedure will be discussed and agreed. Within our company, principally only those persons have access to your data who need it for the proper course of your application procedure.
Where are the data processed?
The data are exclusively processed in computing centres in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Your rights as "interested party”
You are entitled to receive information about your archived personal data. For information enquiries not made in written we ask you to understand that we may demand a proof of identity. Furthermore, you have the right to have data corrected or deleted or restrict the processing to the extent permissible by law. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing in line with legal stipulations. The same applies to the right of data portability.
